For over 16 years, Sam Chan has been a leading architect known for his contemporary design approach across diverse projects, encompassing Luxury Residential, Hospitality, Historic Landmark Preservation, Retail, Restaurants, and Multi-Use Developments. His impressive portfolio spans Taipei, Berlin, Washington D.C., San Diego, Puerto Rico, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles. Sam is a master at navigating coastal zone development and government agency collaborations. His passion for sustainability extends from his educational background to the materials and practices he incorporates into his award-winning designs.

Throughout his career, Sam Chan has been at the forefront of luxury design. Sam has worked at globally respected firms, including bau10, Marmol Radziner, BAR Architects, and Breland Harper. His impressive portfolio includes iconic projects for prestigious brands like Four Seasons and Pendry Hotels, as well as discerning private clients.

Recognized by the AIA California Residential Award in 2019 and featured in LA Times, Wired, Dwell, and TNW. Sam is a registered Architect in California since 2013 and a committed member of SoCal NOMA and AAa/e, actively shaping the future of design in Southern California.

Sam is an active alumni of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and engaged with Pasadena Art Center as a member of Full Circle.

When not in the office, he spends time with friends and family hiking the San Gabriel mountains. He is often in his beloved Lotus Elise in the canyons around Southern California.
